Retail - Why the Future is Blended

I was recently asked to describe in a word - How I felt the future of retail would play out/ What I felt the future looked like? ๐Ÿง๐Ÿ”ฎ

The word I used was โ€˜๐๐‹๐„๐๐ƒ๐„๐ƒโ€™.

If truth be told - Itโ€™s possibly even โ€˜โ€™double blended!โ€

Blended channels & also blended retail models.

Weโ€™re entering a new phase of B2C retail. One thatโ€™s less defined. One that needs to be more agile and consumer responsive. Blended!

So let me elaborate โ€ฆ

Letโ€™s look at Blended Channels first of all.๐Ÿ”

Success in the future will need a blend of physical, digital and social commerce.
